What You’ll Do:

As Slingshot Aerospace’s VP of Marketing and Demand Generation you will collaborate cross-functionally to create and execute go-to-market strategies in alignment with sales goals and business priorities. You will analyze, report on, and optimize the impact of growth marketing activities to drive key initiatives including funnel volume, quality and velocity. You will lead a team to develop customer-centric messaging, company branding, communications, and product marketing for all products and services. You will be a critical partner in growing market awareness and raising the profile of Slingshot Aerospace in target markets to accelerate the revenue generation process.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead our demand and lead generation planning efforts, including the overall strategy, producing new and nurtured lead generation goals and forecasts, setting the budget spend priorities, and measuring overall results against plans
  • Own the conceptualization of demand creation, nurturing, and scoring strategy (explicit and implicit scoring techniques to prioritize leads for the sales teams)
  • Manage the lead qualification process using predictive lead scoring and refine end-to-end campaign and lead management processes
  • Systematically monitor and analyze performance against lead and other marketing goals and over past performance and continually drive Marketing ROI to optimize the program and ongoing growth, looking for areas for additional investment in time and money

Pre-Requisites

  • Must be eligible to obtain or maintain U.S. Government clearances

Minimum Requirements

  • 10+ Years of experience leading marketing or demand generation teams within SaaS B2B or B2G organizations
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field
  • Demonstrated ability to employ analytical skills to the development of strategy
  • Experience developing and guiding strategy to increase lead generation and strengthen go-to-market strategies
  • Proficient in technology deployment to enable sales and marketing efforts efficiently
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of space or aerospace sectors
  • Master’s Degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred
