About The Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our fast-growing team and help shape the future of digital solutions in the chemistry, manufacturing, and controls (CMC) space. You’ll work cross-functionally with product design, engineering, sales, and customer success to uncover opportunities, define solutions, and deliver impactful features
Your profile should match a structured, proactive problem solver with a strong scientific background in commercial manufacturing. In this role, you’ll bring your deep knowledge of biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing into a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment to help build tools that transform Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC) processes.
While prior product management experience is a plus, we’re primarily looking for someone who is analytical, highly organized, self-paced, and visually articulate—someone who can map complex problems clearly, switch between tasks with ease, and help drive decisions that balance scientific rigor / regulatory compliance and software usability.
What You’ll Own
- Customer & Market Insight
- Represent the voice of scientific users by identifying problems worth solving through interviews, research, and industry knowledge.
- Analyze scientific workflows and user behavior, and visually synthesize findings through diagrams, journey maps, or structured frameworks.
- Stay up to date with CMC trends, case studies, regulatory guidelines, and competitor activity.
- Become a subject matter expert in one or more product areas (e.g. features in commercial manufacturing space, user data analytics etc.)
- Collaboration & Product Planning
- Translate scientific problems and user insights into clear product opportunities in collaboration with senior product team members that balance customer value and business goals.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and designers to define, prioritize, and deliver impactful features.
- Bring structure and clarity to discussions and meetings by decomposing user problems and organizing information visually and logically helping cross-functional teams understand the “why” behind product decisions.
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term vision by managing multiple threads of work without losing focus.
- Contribute to organizing future product work, sprint planning, and quality reviews in partnership with peers, engineering and design.
- Execution & Delivery Support
- Communicate progress and decisions clearly to stakeholders through written updates, visuals, or presentations.
- Learn and apply product management best practices on the job, with mentorship from more experienced product team members.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate solutions during and after development.
- Analyze usage and customer feedback to support decision-making or to propose refinements.
- Cross-Functional Enablement
- Coordinate product launches and go-to-market efforts with Marketing and Account Management teams.
- Work with customer success and sales to ensure internal teams are informed, enabled, and equipped to support product initiatives.
- Help communicate product direction and rationale across the organization to ensure alignment.
What You Need To Succeed
- Master’s degree in Biotechnology, Bioprocess Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing, process development, or analytical development.
- Ability to visually communicate complex ideas, whether through diagrams, sketches, or structured documentation.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to break down ambiguity into actionable steps.
- Comfortable managing your own time and priorities in a self-directed, highly organized way.
- Skilled at task switching—able to balance deep focus with reactive needs in a fast-paced startup setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior product management experience is a huge plus.
