Head of B2B Regional Marketing

Category Marketing Location Mountain View, California Job ID 22748

Company Overview

Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.

Job Overview

Intuit's B2B Marketing organization is building an integrated go-to-market engine across the full mid-market spectrum, from emerging mid-market through mid-market. The Head of B2B Regional Marketing owns the execution layer that brings that strategy to life: Field Marketing, Events, and Partner Marketing.

This leader is the connective tissue between corporate marketing strategy and the field. They will align closely with sales leadership to ensure pipeline is being created and progressed through both 1st-party (Intuit-owned) and 3rd-party (industry/partner) events, and will build a partner marketing function for mid-market from the ground up. This role requires someone who can drive results through influence as much as through direct management, unifying regional/field, events, and partner motions into a single, accountable GTM function.

Responsibilities

  • Own regional and territory marketing plans that translate national strategy into local pipeline generation, in direct partnership with sales leadership
  • Build shared pipeline and revenue accountability with sales, grounded in the 2x3 buying dynamics framework (in-market, near-market, out-market) and MQA-based measurement rather than MQL volume
  • Drive Intuit's event strategy across both 1st-party and 3rd-party events, ensuring each event has a clear pipeline creation or progression goal tied back to sales
  • Influence and align event execution teams and budget owners to prioritize the events and formats that move mid-market pipeline, even without direct reporting authority over those resources
  • Build the partner marketing function for mid-market from scratch, including strategy, positioning, and enablement for VARs, ISVs, and strategic tech partners
  • Establish a marketing point of contact and roadmap visibility for mid-market partners, closing the trust gap that has stalled prior pilot efforts
  • Develop co-marketing and channel enablement programs that support and scale mid-market partner pilots
  • Ensure all regional, event, and partner programs draw from the same B2B Marketing context engine (positioning, segmentation, playbooks) so local execution stays consistent with the broader GTM motion
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Marketing, Demand Gen, and GTM Tech to instrument programs and close the loop on signal-driven execution

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in B2B marketing, with direct leadership experience across at least two of: field marketing, events, partner marketing
  • Track record of building or scaling regional/field marketing functions in a mid-market or SMB B2B context
  • Demonstrated success driving outcomes through influence, not just direct management, particularly with event and cross-functional teams outside their reporting line
  • Experience building a partner marketing function from the ground up, including channel strategy for VARs, ISVs, or resellers
  • Demonstrated ability to run field/event programs with measurable pipeline impact, not just brand presence
  • Strong cross-functional operator; comfortable unifying previously disconnected motions under shared metrics
  • Experience partnering closely with sales leadership on shared pipeline accountability
  • Familiarity with account-based and signal-driven marketing approaches (ABX, MQA) preferred
  • Prior experience in accounting/finance software, fintech, or adjacent regulated-channel ecosystems is a plus
