Job Overview
The Consumer Money team at Intuit is working to make financial progress possible for everyone. Within this organization, the Money Operations team—which spans specialized functions across Banking, Lending, Disputes, Control, and Analytics—is responsible for establishing stable, highly efficient operations that seamlessly scale to support rapid business growth and protect the member experience.
As a Money Operations Innovation & Control within the Money Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency, scalability, technological advancement, and foundational safety of our Money Operations ecosystem.In this high-impact position, you will lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for driving future-state operational innovation while ensuring our day-to-day scaling is safe, compliant, and highly optimized. You will directly oversee Embedded Controls (Quality, Monitoring, and Regulatory Complaints), Business Process Management, and Ops Analytics.
The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of builder mindset and protective intuition—someone who can leverage cutting-edge automation, AI, and outsourcing strategies without compromising on quality or regulatory standards. This role is central to building operational readiness for major upcoming launches.
Responsibilities
Team Scope & Key Responsibilities

Embedded Risk & Controls (Quality, Monitoring, & Regulatory Health)
Quality Assurance: Own and scale the quality framework across all Money Operations workstreams to catch errors early, protect customer funds, and maintain high data integrity.
Internal Monitoring & Testing: Establish proactive, continuous testing and automated monitoring routines to catch operational gaps, broken workflows, or systemic errors before they impact users.
Regulatory Complaints Management: Take ultimate ownership of regulatory complaints related to Money Ops. Lead deep-dive root cause analyses, resolve immediate issues, and re-engineer processes to ensure long-term resolution and systemic prevention.
Compliance & Risk Partnership: Serve as the core operational bridge to the broader Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams, ensuring daily workflows inherently align with evolving financial regulations.

Business Process Management (BPM)
Workflow Architecture: Map, analyze, and continually optimize end-to-end money movement processes to maximize speed and reduce friction while eliminating manual bottlenecks.
Automation & Scale: Partner with product and engineering teams to deploy automated workflows, machine learning tools, and robotic process automation (RPA) to eliminate repetitive tasks.
Sourcing Strategy: Design and manage outsourcing or right-sourcing strategies to allow operations to scale seamlessly during hyper-growth, ensuring strict vendor oversight and SLAs.

Ops Analytics & Performance Management
Data-Driven Operations: Oversee the operational analytics engine to monitor the real-time health, throughput, and unit economics of Money Operations.
Metrics & Dashboards: Define and build comprehensive dashboards tracking operational KPIs (speed, cost, volume) alongside critical health metrics (error rates, control failures, complaint trends).
Predictive Insights: Leverage data analytics to forecast volume spikes, detect potential operational strain, and drive strategic decision-making for resource planning.

Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team divided across controls, process design, and data analytics.
Foster a modern, collaborative culture that views risk management and data analytics as enablers of rapid innovation, not blockers.
Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
10–15 years of progressive leadership experience within operations, risk/controls, or business analytics—ideally in a fast-paced fintech, neobank, or modern financial services environment.
Deep experience establishing internal controls, quality programs, and managing regulatory tracking/remediation directly inside an operations department.
Proven track record in Business Process Management (BPM) with hands-on experience leveraging automation, AI, and scaled third-party vendor operations.
Strong data fluency; comfortable steering an analytics function and utilizing metrics to diagnose operational bottlenecks and risk trends.
Forward-thinking perspective on digital assets, with an understanding of the operational and regulatory frameworks required for projects like Circle/Stablecoin.

Ability to think both strategically and tactically—equally comfortable designing a 3-year innovation roadmap or diving into the weeds of an operational exception.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills; a proven collaborator who can align Product, Tech, Risk, and Legal teams around shared operational goals.
High emotional intelligence and communication skills required to lead a diverse, modern, and agile operational team.
