Staff Product Manager - Credit Karma Money
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Credit Karma Money gives millions of members access to a full-featured banking product — checking, savings, and financial tools — embedded inside one of the most-visited personal finance apps in the US. The opportunity is significant: a massive, engaged audience that's already making financial decisions on the platform, and a product with strong underlying benefits that members respond to when they encounter them at the right moment, in the right way.
You'll own the strategy and roadmap to grow member activation — getting members from account open to funded, spending, and set up on direct deposit. Your primary tools are experiment design, funnel analysis, and deep member understanding. You'll inherit a roadmap in motion — experiments running, PRDs written, tickets filed — and will be expected to take it over and move it forward.
What’s great about this role:
A large, engaged audience: Millions of members visit Credit Karma Money each month. The product has real benefits that resonate — the opportunity is in delivering them at the right moment in the member journey.
A clear north star: Member activation — funded, spending, and direct deposit — are the metrics. No ambiguity about what success looks like.
A team that experiments seriously: Results inform strategy. The roadmap changes when evidence says it should
Responsibilities
What you’ll do:
- Define projects by establishing business justification, potential impact, and clear product requirements
- Utilize deep consumer insights and market trends to inform product decisions and continuously gather and analyze user feedback to drive consistent improvements in product experience
- Collaborate closely across Credit Karma, Intuit, and external partner teams to deliver high-quality projects within defined timeline.
- Effectively communicate strategy, decisions, project status, and other vital details to leadership and translate their feedback into action
- Monitor product health and performance by proactively identifying opportunities and making actionable recommendations to drive improvements
- Develop experiments and research plans to identify product opportunities and prioritize the roadmap
- Oversee the product lifecycle from ideation and concept development to launch and iterative improvement, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of product milestones
Qualifications
What We're Looking For:
8+ years in consumer product management, with at least 3 years in a fintech or banking product (checking, savings, payments, lending, or adjacent)
A track record of running structured A/B experiments: hypothesis → design → analysis → decision. You know how to read results, act on them, and change direction when they don't land
SQL fluency — you can pull your own ad-hoc data, investigate your own theories, and collaborate with analysts on more complex analysis tasks.
Demonstrated ability to ship in ambiguity: you've owned a roadmap where the answer wasn't obvious, built a strategy from the evidence available, and updated it when you were wrong
What we’d like to see:
Experience in consumer banking: checking/savings accounts, direct deposit, debit card — you understand how these products actually work, not just at the PM level
Growth or activation PM background — you've owned a funnel metric and moved it
History of navigating financial product regulatory requirements
