Job Overview

The Center of Money portfolio is at the heart of Intuit’s mission to power prosperity. As we continue to scale our financial services and money movement capabilities, we are seeking a Principal of Strategy and Business Operations. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role designed for a strategic leader who can navigate complex market dynamics and translate them into actionable business results.

In this role, you will not just observe the business; you will run the operating system for the Center of Money. You will serve as a strategic partner to leadership, driving the multi-year strategy, owning competitive intelligence, and ensuring the organization moves with discipline and speed.


Responsibilities

Leadership Narratives & Executive Communication: Create high-visibility materials and data-driven recommendations for CEO-level forums, Board updates, and company-wide communications. You will translate complex market dynamics into compelling narratives that enable fast, durable decisions.

Strategic Planning & Process Ownership: Lead and facilitate strategic processes end-to-end, including annual planning sessions and the creation of portfolio goals. You will ensure alignment across different business functions to support the portfolio’s long-term vision.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Analysis: Act as the subject matter expert on market trends and the competitive landscape. You will deliver regular insights, such as the Friday competitive newsletter and quarterly neobank earnings reports, to identify emerging threats and opportunities.

Operational Excellence: Drive the operational agenda for the portfolio by running high-visibility meetings, including All Hands and Strategy Offsites, while ensuring accountability for all action items.

Business Performance & Insights: Partner with Finance and Analytics to analyze key metrics to assess performance. You will perform deep-dive analyses on performance trends to inform critical strategic decisioning.

End-to-End Strategic Initiatives: Take full ownership of key strategic initiatives, ensuring visibility and alignment on objectives across the organization.


Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience in strategy and business operations, management consulting, or a similar operating role within a high-growth fintech or technology environment.

Strategic & Analytical Strength: Proven ability to distill insights from complex data sets and market trends to assess portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement.

Executive Presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a track record of producing CEO-level deliverables and papers.

Operating Skillset: Demonstrated experience facilitating strategic planning frameworks and driving operational rigor within a large, cross-functional organization.

Market Expertise: Deep understanding of the financial services landscape, including neobanks and competitive benchmarking (e.g., Overdraft/PCA benchmarking).

Leadership: Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment towards a unified strategy and vision.

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California $ 197,000- 266,000

Southern California $ 196,000- 265,000
