Job Overview

We are looking for a collaborative problem solver with a passion for tackling complex technical challenges to join our team as a program leader, with responsibility for driving critical enterprise technology initiatives. This role is ideal for someone passionate about executing large-scale programs in the Finance, Legal, and Privacy tech domain at Intuit. You will be instrumental in accelerating Intuit’s transformation through technology automation and AI adoption, enhancing user experiences and driving accelerated business outcomes.

You will own end-to-end program delivery for a set of high-impact initiatives including our Enterprise Month End Close process, Universal Transaction Hub engineering, and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) engineering. You will also contribute to key Privacy initiatives focused on delivering frictionless, compliant use and sharing of data. This role requires a deep technical program manager who can dive quickly into new domains, build strong cross-functional partnerships, and drive programs with rigor and accountability. This role has meaningful executive leadership visibility.


Responsibilities

Focus strategically

  • Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Intuit’s organizational strategy, business and operating model, and performance drivers, and use this as an input to facilitate the creation of strategy and drive execution across the Enterprise Month End Close, Universal Transaction Hub, and CLM Engineering programs.
  • Prioritize work within your program area across multiple organizations or a large function/segment to accelerate delivery of the most impactful outcomes.
  • Identify when a decision or tradeoff is needed, drive tradeoff discussions, and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders for decisioning.
  • Partner with program and team leadership to align on program strategy and resource focus areas.

Lead change

  • Establish credibility as a boundaryless change leader, strengthen trust across teams, and act as a role model generating broad support to lead change with velocity.
  • Partner across teams to identify impacts of all key changes, develop a clear change management plan, and drive end-to-end execution on the plan.
  • Proactively identify and engage stakeholders, anticipating their needs, expectations, and responses. Communicate a compelling and data-backed case for change to influence stakeholders to take action and instill confidence in teams.

Enable scale

  • Identify the need for and contribute to new frameworks, best practices, tools, and templates—or leverage existing ones—to improve program delivery efficiency.
  • Identify, recommend, and drive continuous improvement opportunities to ensure outcome delivery and improve business efficiency. Test with rapid experimentation and share learnings to enable improvement in other areas.
  • Participate in the improvement of the program management craft. Be viewed by peers as an expert and coach others to grow their skills.

Domain expertise

  • Swiftly navigate new program areas by diving deep into subject matter and re-emerging to form an end-to-end blueprint for the program. Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate outcomes in areas such as Month End Close automation, transaction processing, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle. Effectively apply SDLC methodologies and build culture concepts for end-to-end technical program delivery across engineering teams.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of Intuit’s Tech Strategy and City Map capabilities, aligning program work to the strategy and articulating key technical outcomes. Partner with tech leaders to promote engineering and operational excellence and improve development velocity.
  • Skillfully steer domain-specific discussions, guiding technical experts through active problem-solving to rally teams toward program outcomes. Drive communication, trade-off discussions, and decision-making with technical stakeholders.

Deliver programs

  • Partner across teams to define program outcomes, create a program framework, build an end-to-end delivery plan, and establish a governance model. Lead appropriate workstream drivers to meet program success measures and deliver business outcomes.
  • Develop and drive the operating rhythm at the project/program level—setting strategy, monitoring performance, inspiring teams, and instilling accountability.
  • Proactively uncover risks and dependencies, escalate blockers quickly, and determine optimal paths to green. Communicate clearly on program progress, leveraging data and insights to recommend decisions and next steps. Be curious and resourceful with solutions.
  • Use data to assess outcomes and progress to plan, and provide insights and clear communications to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong Technical Program Management experience, including 7+ years planning and leading complex digital transformation programs in enterprise finance, legal, or privacy.
  • Computer science or other technical education or equivalent work experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at the Director and Senior Manager level within a matrixed environment.
  • Project/program framework best practices, tools, and techniques, with the ability to build end-to-end program blueprints.
  • Extensive knowledge of software development approaches, architecture, and lifecycle. Ability to effectively apply SDLC methodologies and build culture concepts for end-to-end technical program delivery.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong cross-functional partnerships to deliver the best program outcomes
