Job Overview
Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group (GBSG) builds tools and services that help small and mid-sized businesses manage cash flow and grow. Within this mission, the Capabilities Data Science team partners closely with QuickBooks Capital to deliver data-driven insights, scalable machine learning solutions, and emerging AI capabilities that improve lending experiences and outcomes.
This role sits at the intersection of product data science and AI enablement. You’ll drive business impact through analytics and modeling while also building tools, workflows, and best practices that help data scientists across the organization work more efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
Product & Growth Data Science
Identify and size business opportunities, define success metrics, and deliver actionable insights to drive lending growth
Build predictive models, design and analyze experiments, and develop customer segmentation strategies
Analyze internal and partner data to uncover trends and inform product, marketing, and lending decisions
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, Engineering, and Design to influence roadmap and execution
Communicate complex analyses clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
AI & Automation Enablement
Develop agents, servers, MCPs, and orchestration frameworks to automate workflows and scale impact across the Data Science organization
Serve as a go-to expert for onboarding and adoption of AI tools (e.g., Cursor, Figma Make, GenOS, Blobbot), removing friction and enabling productivity
Create playbooks, establish best practices, and identify high-impact AI use cases aligned with business needs
Coach team members on applying LLMs to data challenges such as data matching, cleansing, and instrumentation design
ML & Data Governance
Establish best practices for ML lifecycle management, including batch models and emerging LLM-based systems
Support the team’s transition from traditional ML approaches to effective use of generative AI
Advise on data security, governance, and fine-grained access controls
Promote scalable, reusable analytics and modeling frameworks to improve efficiency across teams
Qualifications
4–8 years of experience in data science or analytics, ideally in fintech (lending, credit cards, or marketplaces)
Strong foundation in experimentation, predictive modeling, and data-driven decision-making
Experience working with large datasets and building scalable analytics or ML solutions
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and drive business impact
Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations
BS or MS in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Econometrics, or a related field
