Staff Product Manager, AI Agents (Migration & Onboarding)
Company Overview
Intuit is the global financial technology platform that powers prosperity for the people and communities we serve. With approximately 100 million customers worldwide using products such as TurboTax, Credit Karma, QuickBooks, and Mailchimp, we believe that everyone should have the opportunity to prosper. We never stop working to find new, innovative ways to make that possible.
Job Overview
Come join the QuickBooks Desktop team (part of Mid-Market Segment) as a Staff Product Manager, AI Migration & Onboarding Agent.
QuickBooks is Intuit's flagship accounting software, powering millions of small and mid-sized businesses globally. The Mid-Market team is driving a critical transformation: migrating customers from Desktop to cloud-native platforms.
Today, migration from desktop to cloud is high-friction and high-touch. It slows conversion and strains support capacity. Your mission is to change that by building an AI Agent that guides customers through the entire migration journey, from readiness assessment to data migration, configuration, and first productive use.
This is a zero-to-one role. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution for this agent, working at the intersection of LLMs, agentic architectures, and accounting domain knowledge to turn migration from a barrier into a growth engine.
Responsibilities
- Own the AI Migration Agent end-to-end: Define vision, strategy, and roadmap for an AI agent that guides customers through complex product migrations, from readiness assessment through post-migration validation.
- Design for scalability and reuse: Architect the agent as a modular platform capability that can be extended to multiple source systems, customer segments, and net-new onboarding journeys.
- Define AI/Human collaboration: Design patterns where the agent handles routine tasks autonomously and escalates complex decisions to domain experts, support teams, or customers.
- Build the knowledge backbone: Own the agent's knowledge base, including product mapping logic, feature parity data, gap analysis rules, and domain-specific reasoning.
- Drive adoption and migration velocity: Define success metrics (completion rate, time-to-value, CSAT, support deflection) and build feedback loops to continuously improve agent performance.
- Lead cross-functional execution: Align engineering, AI/ML, design, data science, sales, care, and operations around an agent-first migration strategy. Partner with platform teams to leverage shared AI infrastructure.
- Close the customer insight loop: Research migrating customers, domain experts, and internal teams to uncover friction points and benchmark against AI-driven migration experiences in SaaS and Fintech.
Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years in product management with 2+ years shipping AI agent, conversational AI, or intelligent automation products in B2B SaaS or Fintech.
AI Agent expertise: Deep understanding of agentic architectures, LLMs, RAG systems, orchestration frameworks, and evaluation pipelines. Experience defining guardrails, confidence thresholds, and human-in-the-loop escalation patterns.
B2B SaaS Migration experience: Track record building customer migration, data portability, or onboarding products. Understands the complexity of moving business-critical data between systems at scale.
Platform thinking: Designs modular, reusable agent capabilities that serve multiple source systems, customer segments, and journey types.
Customer empathy: Deep experience with SMB/mid-market customers. Understands the friction and anxiety customers face when switching business-critical software.
Analytical rigor: Comfortable defining and tracking agent performance metrics like accuracy, task completion, escalation rate, and time-to-value.
Cross-functional influence: Proven ability to align engineering, AI/ML, design, and GTM teams around a shared product vision in a matrixed organization.
Education: Undergraduate degree required (technical discipline preferred). MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
Preferred
Hands-on experience with LLM-based agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or equivalent).
Familiarity with prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and AI evaluation techniques.
Experience in accounting, ERP, or financial software domains.
Top-Tier or International MBA or other Advanced degree preferred.
