About this role:

The Business Development Manager at GoCo oversees the performance management of MDRs and SDRs, ensuring efficient daily business development processes. Reporting to the VP of Sales, they continuously improve and train on messaging, align closely with Marketing to respond to new campaigns, and collaborate with AEs to maintain high-quality qualification and coverage. This role also involves reliably reporting and forecasting key metrics to leadership. The ideal candidate is experienced in the HR software industry. GoCo is fully remote.

What will I be doing?

  • Performance Management of MDRs and SDRs
  • Management of day to day Business Development processes and motions
  • Iterate, Improve, and Train on Messaging
  • Work closely with Marketing on responding quickly, and being aligned with new campaigns
  • Work closely with AEs to make sure qualification and coverage is of high quality
  • Report and forecast key metrics reliably to leadership

Necessary Skills, Experience & Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ Years of experience as a Business Development Manager in SaaS OR 5+ years of HR Tech SaaS experience
  • Demonstrated understanding and experience with prospecting sales technology and experience implementing these solutions
  • Management and operations mindset
  • Desire to roll your sleeves up and build something
  • Local to the Houston-area
  • Excited to drive in-person work for culture and learning 1-2x each month
