About Autonomize AI
Autonomize AI is a multi-tenant healthcare SaaS company building AI Studio — a platform for designing, running, and operating AI agents that power payer and provider workflows: prior authorization, eligibility, claims, and member/provider operations. Our customers run mission-critical healthcare processes on us, where downtime and errors have real human consequences.
The Role
We are hiring an L3 Support Engineer for Autonomize's Application Managed Services (AMS) team in Bengaluru. You handle technical escalations from L2 — digging into code, logs, pipelines, and databases to resolve complex production issues and find root cause. You are growing toward owning the hardest problems independently, working alongside a Senior L3 and the ASOps Manager who mentor you through tough incidents.
You operate during US Pacific business hours and contribute directly to Sev-1 / Sev-2 incident response and to the runbooks and automation that keep our healthcare customers reliably served.
Why This Role Matters
- You resolve the hard tickets. Issues beyond L2 land with you for real fixes.
- You prevent repeats. Your root-cause work reduces recurring pain over time.
- Healthcare is unforgiving. Reliability of payer and provider workflows is non-negotiable.
- You grow fast. Direct mentorship from senior engineers on real production problems.
What You'll Do
- Take ownership of complex incidents escalated from L2 — investigate root cause across application code, databases, pipelines, and infrastructure.
- Implement code-level fixes, patches, and configuration changes; escalate architecture-level decisions to Senior L3 / Engineering.
- Contribute to Sev-1 / Sev-2 incident response during US Pacific hours and to blameless postmortems.
- Deep-dive observability across logs, metrics, traces, and dashboards to diagnose failures.
- Build and improve scripts, runbooks, SOPs, and troubleshooting guides.
- Partner with L2, Senior L3, and Engineering to resolve systemic issues and surface recurring patterns.
- Support release validation, defect fixes, and change management under guidance.
What You Bring (Required)
- 2–3 years in application/production support, SRE, or software engineering for SaaS or enterprise platforms.
- Solid troubleshooting across application, API, and data layers.
- Ability to read code and make targeted fixes (Python and/or a comparable backend language).
- Working experience with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and at least one observability stack (Datadog, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch).
- Solid SQL and database troubleshooting (PostgreSQL or similar); comfort with logs and configs.
- Exposure to Sev-1 / Sev-2 incident handling.
- Awareness of HIPAA, PHI handling, and US healthcare compliance.
- Clear written and verbal English; calm customer-facing communication.
- Comfort working US Pacific business hours from Bengaluru.
- Ownership mindset and eagerness to learn.
Nice to Have
- Healthcare domain exposure (payer operations, eligibility, claims, prior authorization).
- Experience with streaming (Kafka), workflow orchestration, or scripting for automation.
- Exposure to LLM/agent platforms or data intelligence tools.
What We Offer
A fast track to senior L3 ownership, hands-on mentorship from senior engineers, and meaningful production problems in a healthcare AI platform built on the latest technology.
