About Autonomize AI

Autonomize AI is revolutionizing healthcare by combining data and context to streamline knowledge workflows, reduce administrative burdens, and improve patient outcomes. We’re a high-velocity, mission-driven startup that values full-stack ownership, clear alignment, and customer obsession.
Role Overview
Autonomize AI is hiring a Head of Product to scale the next generation of Agentic Healthcare AI. This leader will own the strategy and roadmap for the Autonomize platform and AI workflows, ensuring we become the #1 enterprise AI partner for health plans, providers, and life sciences organizations.
You will help define what the “Agentic Health Enterprise” looks like in practice—how health organizations move from manual, fragmented workflows to AI-native operations built on trusted, enterprise-grade AI agents—and translate that into a crisp, executable product strategy.
This is a senior, hands-on role requiring the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution—shaping product vision, validating with customers, writing detailed specs, partnering deeply with Engineering, and working closely with GTM teams to drive adoption and measurable ROI. You will partner with the CEO, CTO, and cross-functional leaders to accelerate Autonomize AI’s product-market fit in one of the most important categories emerging in healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Product Vision & Strategy
  • Own the end-to-end product vision for Autonomize AI’s platform (Genesis, compound AI agents, multi-agent orchestration, and trust/safety) and healthcare AI workflows.
  • Develop a multi-year roadmap across core workflows, utilization management, case management, quality, pharmacy, claims, clinical research, complex document processing.
  • Articulate and refine the vision for the Agentic Health Enterprise and how customers progress along that journey—from initial AI workflows to fully orchestrated agentic workflows.
  • Align product strategy tightly with company objectives, revenue goals, and customer outcomes, ensuring clear tradeoffs and prioritization.
  • Own the product-market analysis loop from segmentation, problem validation, competitive intel, and pricing to guide Autonomize’s roadmap across platform as well as Payer, Provider, and Life Sciences workflows.
Roadmap, Execution & Delivery
  • Own the execution of the product roadmap: define and prioritize features and technical investments across platform capabilities and workflow-specific solutions.
  • Partner deeply with Engineering and Design to deliver high-quality, secure, scalable AI-native products on time and with clear success metrics.
  • Build a continuous discovery and validation motion: customer interviews, design partnerships, pilots, and data-driven iteration.
  • Define and track product success metrics (adoption, engagement, value delivered, ROI, NPS) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the platform and agents are configurable and reusable across multiple healthcare workflows, not just bespoke one-offs.
Customer, Market & Category Insight
  • Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare workflows (health plans, providers, life sciences), regulatory expectations, and enterprise buying dynamics.
  • Stay ahead of the AI and LLM landscape - foundation models, agentic patterns, safety/guardrails, privacy/security—and translate that into pragmatic product bets.
  • Partner with customers as design and innovation partners, turning their strategic challenges into scalable product capabilities.
  • Identify and validate new solution opportunities (e.g., Prior Auth, Care Gaps Review, Medical Record Review, Clinical Research, Complex Document Processing) where Autonomize can deliver differentiated value.
Platform, AI & Healthcare Product Leadership
  • Ensure the platform delivers safe, trusted, HIPAA-compliant AI systems with enterprise-grade security, governance, and controls.
  • Champion reusable platform and agent capabilities that power multiple solutions and drive leverage across customers.
  • Balance innovation with safety and reliability, especially in clinical and operational contexts where errors have real-world consequences.
GTM, Commercial & Product Marketing Partnership
  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to define compelling value propositions, pricing/packaging, and implementation patterns.
  • Equip GTM with the right assets—demos, product narratives, ROI stories, solution playbooks, and implementation templates—to accelerate enterprise sales cycles.
  • Use customer and pipeline feedback to inform roadmap decisions and prioritize high-impact capabilities.
Leadership & Operating Model
  • Establish a high-velocity, transparent operating rhythm across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success (e.g., quarterly planning, roadmap reviews, launch playbooks).
  • Model full-stack ownership: from discovery and definition to adoption and outcomes, not just shipping features.
  • Embed a culture of clarity, customer obsession, and measurable impact.
Cross-Functional & Executive Leadership
  • Serve as a key partner to the CEO and CTO on company strategy, category creation, and investor/customer storytelling.
  • Translate complex AI capabilities into simple, credible narratives and business value for customers, prospects, and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent Product in executive-level customer and partner conversations - including large health plans, provider systems, and life sciences organizations.
Qualifications
Experience
  • 10+ years in B2B enterprise SaaS product management, including 3–5 years leading Product at a scaling startup or high-growth business.
  • Proven experience owning product strategy and roadmap for complex, technical, or AI-driven products—ideally involving LLMs, agents, or data-intensive platforms.
  • Strong background in healthcare, health plans, providers, or life sciences—understanding workflows, data, regulatory constraints, and stakeholder dynamics is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success taking products from 0→1 and 1→N: building, scaling, and iterating in close partnership with customers.
  • Experience working with enterprise buyers and complex implementations (security, compliance, integrations with EMR/claims/clinical systems, etc.).
Skills
  • Exceptional product sense and systems thinking—able to see both the platform architecture and the end-user workflow.
  • Strong technical fluency in modern AI/LLM stacks, data platforms, and cloud architectures; comfortable whiteboarding tradeoffs with engineering.
  • Deep discovery and customer-development skills; you know how to listen, synthesize, and convert messy problems into crisp product requirements.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to define, instrument, and act on product metrics.
  • Excellent communication skills - talk to clinicians and engineers in the same day, and present to C-suite executives with credibility.
  • Comfortable in a founder-led, fast-moving environment with evolving needs and incomplete information.
Bonus Points
  • A strategic product leader who loves getting into the weeds while being equally energized by defining a 3-year vision and writing the next set of detailed specs.
  • Obsessed with customers and outcomes, not just features. You care deeply about the ROI and workflow transformation your products unlock.
  • Motivated by impact, speed, and building category-defining products.
  • Operate with full-stack ownership and thrive in environments that value clarity, accountability, and velocity.
  • Energized by the challenge of turning cutting-edge AI into safe, trusted, everyday tools for healthcare knowledge workers.
What We Offer
  • High-impact opportunity to shape the future of healthcare AI.
  • Autonomy, ownership, and the ability to chart your own growth path.
  • Competitive base salary + commission + accelerators.
  • 100% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Retirement plans (401k), disability insurance, and employee assistance programs.
  • Work with a bold, fast-moving team solving meaningful problems.
