Job Description & Responsibilities:

We’re looking for a developer experience engineer to build quality developer experiences, produce sample code and demos, work with the codebase of our documentation site, and troubleshoot developer issues and respond accordingly. This role will be customer facing as feedback for this area of the product is vital to ensuring success; interfacing with our customers to facilitate that feedback in an empathetic and thoughtful manner is crucial. Job responsibilities will include:

• Making ergonomic tools for developers to use our products – including contributing to how the surface of our API is developed, building out our SDKs and their public repos, and creating demo applications for developers to reference.
• Creating thoughtful experiences in our documentation site and customer dashboards.
• Building out the developer experience of our API – including contributing to our public Postman workspace and crafting helpful error messaging.
• Working directly with our customers’ dev teams to ensure a smooth developer experience and field any feedback.

Skills and Experience:

We are looking for a talented and ambitious employee with the following general characteristics:

• 3+ years software engineering, web, or mobile development experience.
• Familiarity with frontend frameworks – we use Vue, but experience with other frameworks suffices.
• Some experience with mobile frameworks – iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, or any combination.

Bonus Qualifications:

• Experience with building demo apps for a developer audience.
• Experience with open source leadership or community management.
• Experience creating public technical content – like blog posts, short form or long video, dev-centric social posts, and/or live streaming.
• Experience in Fintech.
• Experience with Node.js.
